The hotel is a quaint and exceptionally comfortable place to stay in Kill Devil Hills. The room was nicely updated and modern, with a bathroom and two full-size beds. The location is magnificent, and all this for just US$67.

Also, location was favourable, just 5 minutes walk from Wright Brothers National Memorial. There was a good restaurant relatively close to the hotel. We were given impeccably clean room with a kitchenette, the bathroom plus a balcony. Lots of food available in the bar.

Very good staff and drinks, the hotel itself was fairly clean. The room was clean with 2 full size beds, I felt comfortable there.

The room could of been cleaner. It was also located beneath the stairway so we listen to footsteps all the time.

Staff was courteous and friendly, and the location was just great--right in the middle of everything without being noisy. The room was bright and cheerful. Though the breakfast was always the same, it was consistent and appreciated.

Just wish I had had better idea of when the maid service was coming each day. I realize it depended on check-ins and check-outs, but it was never the same. I needed to shower at 2 p.m. to go out after being at the beach one day. I put the "do not disturb" sign on the door for about 45 minutes and removed it as soon as I left, thinking they would check before being done for the day. They were obviously still working when we left. I wish I had said something to draw attention to it, but bottom line--the room was not cleaned that day. Not a big deal in the scheme of things, but it would have been nice to have some consistency of expectation.

I got to stay in a modern room that had been nicely updated and had bigger beds along with a balcony to enjoy 🌅. The breakfast offered here was pretty good, with options like egg and sausage patties to start the day off right.

Nice location. Short walk to the beach. Breakfast very good. Coffee service very good.

Room was very small! Housekeeping didn't come with towels and cleaning until nearly 5 pm after first night. Desk said there was a power failure. I can see no reason why one can't smoke in the chairs OUTSIDE on balconies.
